Muy buenos días,
Very good morning,
Además, siempre que haya un adulto delante, también podréis utilizar esta técnica con niños para estimular su creatividad y que se decoren ellos mismos la ropa. Alla vamos!!
Fancy giving a "no sewing" different touch to any of your clothes in 10 minutes? Then I'm sure you'll enjoy this tutorial, you just have to start gathering your old crayons. I've made a heart neck but helped by a pattern you can draw everything. Believe me it's incredibly easy and the outcome is mindblowing!
The best thing is that you can also use this technique with children to stimulate their imagination (always in an adult presence) Here we go then!!
Supplies: T-shirt, iron, masking tape, pins, crayons (in Spain we have Plastidecors which works better), Chalk to mark shape, an old cloth, scissors, pencil sharpener and newspaper.
Try your t-shirt on and define shape with chalk. You can use pins to demarcate measures when weared.
Repeat in the back.
Cover your design's limits with masking tape in order to get a polished stamping. Place newspaper between both sides of your garment and put it on something big and protected enough to be able iron on.
Iron being careful ensuring you don't move cloth and check the result. If you want it more intense sharpen again crayons and repeat operation.
Remove cloth and start shining on your new t-shirt!! This is a highly washing resistant kind of stamping and there are infinite possibilities: covering the whole t-shirt, drawing stripes, adding details to a shirt, underwear, swimwear, curtains, jeans... Warning, it is very addictive!!
Besos y como siempre millones de gracias por vuestros comentarios.
Kisses and as always million thanks for your feedback.
